Easter Egg
I’m interrupting our regular programs to inform eager readers of this blog that the next batch of beta-testers will be invited next week just after the long Easter week-end. A few hundred lucky people will receive an invitation on Tuesday or Wednesday once we have moved our SuperHub to its new data center.
Last night, we integrated our new icons designed by YellowIcons who did a great job. Here’s what they look like at an 128×128 pixels size (they are actually smaller in the software):

I’m sure some people in the comments will seize this opportunity to order us to stop teasing and to release the software. This is what we are actually doing. Step by step. It will take some time before everybody gets to test a version. Meanwhile I wanted to share the work from YellowIcons.

Nice icons, I really like them. I’m hoping that I am in the next batch of beta testers. Been waiting for this for months.

Good to see the progress. Love the icons, except share. I would make it one hand sharing bread, breaking bread, with another (e.g. caucasion, sharing with another e.g. black). Hey be a little politically correct and throw in some ethnicity…just kidding

hmm why audio files are always pictured by CD disc? I get the thing most music comes on cd audio but it’s not realy thing you shuld share p2p (legaly speaking). so More reasonable icon whuld be speaker with some kind of air waves, or waveform drawing.

I got the invite e-mail last Tuesday (the 4th) and I filled out the application, but I still haven’t gotten my access code. Are the access codes what they’re saying they are releasing slowly, or did I mess something up in my registration? BTW, the icons look hot!

as far as I remeber they send access codes in a first requested, first gets manner. So you will get your code when will be your que. it’s pity they did not inform what place in que we got.

Excellent Icons. I’m glad to see new ones and not a canned set.

Wauw yellow icon did a great job on those icons. It’s important to look good, it’s the first thing everyone sees. Can’t wait to download the plugin

I guess I am politically correct, but I agree with Mike in a more serious way. I think the icons are great too, but more color would be even better.

Actually I think Ben has a good point. A friend of mine also complained that she had to look like a guy in a wimpy sweater. Ideally we should have icons that let people choose their sex, skin tone, etc., at least to some degree. Not likely to happen that soon considering our workload but something to keep in mind. After all, we are “AllPeers” not “AllWhiteMalePeers”.
