Memory is not cheep, never was And mostlikely never will be. Remeber that most people Don't ern much. Costs of living for most of the time surpass monthly ernings. Most people I know do not upgrade their machines, they bearly (with much struggling) buy new one (not top of the line at that), every 5-6 years. Please be more thoughtfull.

I can't wait to try AllPeers out. Everyone is always upset at what a "memory hog" firefox is but memory is cheap and easy to get. The more memory you have the faster complex programs run.

Then again, I have the utmost respect for utorrent... I'm downloading 12 things right now and memory usage is only 1.8 megs.

I should mention that, while I'm pretty happy with AllPeers footprint considering that our focus has been on infrastructure/features, not optimization, it is a goal for us to lower memory consumption, size of the download, etc.
