Well perhaps it has the same root cause as the NoScript problem anyway. Hopefully we'll manage to fix this for the next version (and hopefully that will make your crash go away).

Do you have NoScript installed? The only reports of crashing I've heard are when both AP and NS are installed.

http://forums.mozillazine.org/viewtopic.php?p=2586779#2586779

Looks like Allpeers is crashing for a few people in Windows XP. I was running the last version of Firefox when Allpeers started crashing; I reinstalled and downloaded FF 2.0 and the new AP extension, but it still crashes. At the moment, Allpeers is disabled, because every time I start up Firefox 2.0 it tries to connect to the network and bingo -- Firefox 'has to close'.

However, this is a really wonderful thing you've created. I like it a lot.

I'm taken by surprise. I don't want a Google dashboard. Will someone please tell this old man how to get a reasonably old-fashioned-looking browser out of this mess. This is not an onsult --- but we older folks don't adjust well to sudden changes.

Debajit,

Can you post about your problem on our support forums so we can figure out what's going wrong? It might be a conflict with another extension.

Alright.. I managed to download it from Mozilla's site.. but the buttons on the Allpeers toolbar don't seem to work at all for me (Firefox/mac). In fact nothing much seems to work at all -- except for the Preferences window.

Will it work with OS X 10.2.8 on a Power PC G4? I tried installing it and I received a message saying that it only works with 32 bit version of Firefox?

The installation process worked fine for me. Right now I'm looking for people to actually share with, so I would suggest to find new friends in the
AllPeers group on last.fm.
