This will be my last Mozpad-related post on Planet Mozilla, since we now have a shiny new moon orbiting it, thanks to Benjamin Smedberg.

The kickoff meeting was fruitful and a full transcript is online on the Mozpad wiki. I’ve also added a list of potential goals for Mozpad to the wiki. Please step up and volunteer to champion a goal if you think it is important. If I forgot any goals or included braindead goals that no idiot would ever want to get behind, please comment as appropriate on the wiki. I also added a statement of the organization’s scope and annotated the members list to indicate people who have made a time commitment.

The next Mozpad meeting is scheduled for May 30th (next Wednesday) at 4pm UTC in #mozpad. See you there!

  1. Hi Matt

Great to see Mozpad get started. I noted your comments that mozpad related posts won’t be going to Planet Mozilla any more. I’d like to suggest that you tag them so they go to both the new moon and to Planet Mozilla. I know that I’d like to see Mozpad updates in the general Mozilla stream of feeds I read, even if I don’t get to the Mozpad specific area. It might make sense for a lot of the Mozpad specific posts to end up at mozpad.moon only. But any overviews, or updates or plans of actions that you post would be nice to see in the general Mozilla world.

  2. I’ll second Mitchell’s hope that you’ll continue sending mozpad updates to planet.mo. This seems clearly appropriate content for syndication, and of strong interest to a fairly large part of the community.

  3. Good news :-) ! But the feed on this moon is broken (in fact, it is empty…)

  4. Mitchell, Dria - thanks, I’ll post significant updates to p.m.o as well.

Laurent - Still waiting for Benjamin to turn on the feed.
