Email Followup
Based on the great feedback for my last post on this topic (thanks!), it looks like I have broadly two choices to meet my email requirements: Thunderbird with an IMAP server and an extra server-side app to handle full text, or Gmail. I’d like to try the IMAP route first. Apparently the folks who do our system administration were planning to set this up anyway. Since they haven’t made a choice of software yet, they asked if I had any preference. Anyone want to recommend their favorite IMAP implementation? What’s the best software to get Google-like full-text search capabilities?
